Database Merge


Database Merge services are also known as list merge and merge/purge.

Database Merge combines records from two or more lists into one relational database or flat file. When the same record occurs in more than one list, similar to Duplication Elimination, the multiple records are merged into one record.

Database Merge can also be used to update database lists with data from other lists. This can usually include, if requested, the elimination of duplications in and among all lists.

Database Merge is offered by Peacock Data, Inc. through Merge/Purge. It is their specialty. They use proprietary algorithms developed over more than 20 years that employ advanced tools such as nickname and phonetic matching, among many others techniques. Additionally their algorithms allow you to customize the tightness of the matching logic to meet your specific needs.
